Here is my finished ident piece:
I had to render this out at only a medium sample size, rather than high. Below you can see what it would look like with high samples and global illumination to make the scene lighter (but without any postproduction), however rendering this single frame took close to 2 hours, so this wasn’t really an option for all 90 frames.
I also have an ‘up next’ page, but I don’t really feel like it looks right, so I’m not going to include it in my final pieces.
Although I had planned to do more, the current circumstances have meant that I haven’t had much time to create any more pieces, and any ideas that I have come up with just would crash my computer too much (I think some simulations would work really well for this project).
While it is a shame to not have created more pieces, I am certain that once I invest in new hardware I will come back to this project, as creating TV idents is something I would love to do as a career.
