For my lyric videos, I will be able to work much more efficiently if I don’t have to hand draw absolutely everything. I had the idea of creating my own font to keep within the hand drawn style, and this way, if I do at any point still hand draw a word, it will fit with the style of the font, since they were all drawn by me.
I have used the website Calligraphr before, and I think its super easy to use. I decided that since I will want all of my words to be uppercase, I could have different styles for the uppercase and lowercase templates.
All you have to do to create your own font is download the template, draw your letters on it and then re-upload it!
After using my font I decided that some of the letters were too thick and didn’t really sit well with the others. Its really easy to change them though, I just logged onto the website, re-drew the letters on the template, and uploaded them again. The website asked me if I wanted to replace the old letters and then it was done! All thats left is to download and install the font.
