Initially I wanted my transition to look like it was pages of a book being turned, but after watching the tutorial below, I decided that CC page turn looks a bit basic, and I could create something much more interesting and fitting within my style myself.
Instead I have decided to use a ‘draw on’ effect. Its really easy to do, it just involves a trim path, and an alpha mat. Here’s a short clip to show how I did it:
This fits my style much better than CC page turn would, so I have decided to use this method instead.
