After writing down all of my initial ideas, I am conflicted about working in 2D or in 3D. If I work in 2D, I know I will be able to create something of good quality, as I have worked in 2D before so I have existing skills and know that I have the capacity to expand these skills. 3D is something I have hardly ever worked in. I have done some small 3D projects in my second year, and they really piqued my interest in 3D, however, I found the software really difficult to use.

If I do a 2D project, it will most likely be a portfolio project; I think I could create a nice set of motion graphics templates that could be sold online individually or as a set. This is something I have done before, so it doesn’t really push me that much.

If I work in 3D, I would love to create some artistic pieces like the ones seen below. I follow a lot of artists on Instagram and one day I would love to be one of them. Being able to create pieces like these would help me expand my motion graphics portfolio into 3D and eventually help me to get a job in the industry.
